that is the question. This is my hair now. (In a semi glamour shots pose)
It is getting long..so what to do? I get antsy. Do I cut bangs? I can't cut it too short-we know after the 1999-2000 hair debacle what Mike thinks of short hair. (His Medusa stare after the cut nearly reduced me to stone)
So, short layers? (yikes-my hair IS usually curly, after all.) Or if it ain't broke, don't fix it?
aside:
Elise: "Dad, what are you doing?"
Mike: "nunya."
Elise: "what?"
Mike: "nunya. none of ya business."
Elise: "Dad, that's not funny at all. You know, mom is WAY funnier."
Yes. That's right Elise. That is the truth.

I think it looks great just the way it is! Also, what is your trajectory when you are going to see the Drs. Thingvoll? Will you be going anywhere near Blowing Rock, NC??? I would love to even meet up just for lunch or something like that. I think I might be on the way!
well Mike just informed me that bangs are grounds for divorce so I guess I won't be doing that...though i still maintain that long ones around my face would look ok.
anyway, I am planning on heading up there on June 17th until June 19th for the weekend. I'll be driving (sans kids) from Marietta, Ga. and was just going to GPS it. Although Erik wanted to send me on the more scenic route. In terms of geography I know as much about that region as I do Uruguay, so I'm not sure where I'll be.
Well, it actually looks like it would be about 2 hours out of your way, so that would add quite a bit to your trip. Maybe I could meet you somewhere along the way for lunch, so you wouldn't be adding drive time as I know the trip will be pretty packed for you anyway. Right now, not sure what will be happening as I will be just going back to work after maternity leave. I also will probably flying out to CA sometime right around then for an interview, so not sure, but I will follow up with you when it gets closer to see what your plans are.
Holly, your hair is great. I wouldn't change a thing, but if you are itching to do something, you're itching to do something and there is no getting around it. (That's how I get, so I know the feeling.) In that case, I would say some layers, but noooo to bangs.
Also, Pat and I have used Mike's "nunya" with Greta and she is never amused either. We think it's hilarious.
