Today the nice people in Mike's department at work threw a shower for us and another couple-Mike's co-fellow Bill and his lovely wife Courtney who are expecting their first baby in April. We felt very fortunate to be included even though it isn't customary to have a shower for baby #2! Oh, to be reacquainted with items such as the "Boppy" and Lansinoh nursing products...things that seem a distant memory to me now.
The food was terrific, plentiful and we had not one, not two but three cakes!! In an effort to not turn into a complete whale I was pretty careful about my cake consumption...the absence of gestational diabetes has it's drawbacks;-)
