Legoland!

They call it Legoland for a reason, lots of legos. We went to Legoland last week to celebrate Elise's birthday and because Grandma was here. If Disneyland is heavy metal then Legoland is classical. It is seriously one of the most darling places we have ever been to. No crowds, no lines, no annoying people-all things the Froehlers despise. The weather was a beautiful 68 degrees. Elise had so much fun! Legoland is perfect for little kids 2 or 3 until about 7 years. Older kids will get bored but it was perfect for us. Finally a place where Elise can go on almost all of the rides! She even got to dig for "dinosaur bones" and play in the musical water fountains. Our pictures as usual did not turn out great but...

Elise and mommy on the serene (and somewhat boring) fairy tale boat ride:
Proof that Elise rode her first rollercoaster with daddy 3 times!!!! We could only get them on the ascent:
Say hi to the zebras made out of legos:
Another of Elise's favorite rides-she's serious about driving. She got a pretend license when she was finished the course:
Holly's favorite part of the trip hands down-the USA made out of legos. It was simply the most awesome thing I have seen in awhile. Amazing. hours and days and years it took people to create these picture perfect cities all from legos. Craziness:

The Vegas strip-lego style..love it:
