I just bought a sweet pair of vintage denim Levis short shorts. They are not exactly Daisy Dukes-but they are close and I am proud to say they look really good. Now I know all the exercise I do isn't for nothing. I am gearing up for our trip to Cabo in a few weeks! I am usually the fashionista go to person since I read too much and shop too much (I'm working on this) but I'm guessing rompers are out of the question for moms. There is something very "cool 1970's" about it but can you pull it off if you are over the age of 30? Ladies, you can discuss.
ps-and i'm not talking about romper "nighties". those are divine but I'm keeping it at least pg- rated.
pps-and not the ones for little kids..hahaha

Holly, I know you can pull a romper off, but I would say they are perfectly acceptable in Cabo or as lounge around the house wear...going to the grocery store might be a bit too "mom not getting enough attention at home" wear. Congrats on the levi's!
hahaha..thanks! yes, I think I agree with that statement. I'll keep the jeans and tanks and flip-flops for grocery wear. In an effort to not be too "trendy" I'll skip the romper fad
My vote, for what it's worth, is to pass on the romper.
OMG, I had to Google romper. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but I think it's a little bit of both. And yeah, I agree you can definitely carry it off, but perhaps it's best not too...unless it's for a theme party at Rebecca's.
Thanks for the input ladies...
remember those theme parties?? hahaha. The romper in question was actually very tasteful and cute-courtney can vouch for this as I sent her the link. But I still think I might pass-especially because it's super pricey. Also because I hate being too trendy
