pouring rain + homemade "healthy chili" + wine + Goldfinger in HD=a pretty perfect evening.
Lastnight we went out for our bi-weekly fancy dinner sans Elise and it was, as always, very remarkable. Although, tonight was almost as good just staying in and watching the 007 marathon. Even though we own every bond movie there is something about the marathon being on TV that makes it more exciting...So of course we always end up talking about our favorite Bond. I still say Sean Connery-he was good. Mike always goes with Roger Moore but he likes Pierce Brosnan too. Was there even anyone who liked Timothy Dalton? yuck is what I say. I can't get into Daniel Craig..it's not the same. He's too light. Oh and LOL I have to make fun of Mike for liking that dumb one where George Lazenby falls in love. On Her Majesty's Secret Service? was that it? haha
If we're feeling really wild-we have some fancy root beer in the fridge. A few weeks ago I gave up coffee and most caffeinated beverages cold turkey. My reasoning for this was something like: "why do I drink this? I don't need it. I don't like the way it makes me feel. My teeth are very white and I would like for them to stay that way." It was NOT easy though..I had a killer headache for about 7 days. Now that the headaches have subsided I have so much more energy and feel more awake than I did when I drank the stuff. Yay for me!

I have mostly given up diet coke, except for the occasional fountain one the day after a bit too much wine.
I feel SO much more hydrated on my long-runs when I am NOT pounding that instead of water.

I would NOT kick Pierce out of bed for eating crackers, although, he is NOT my first choice.
