We are celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow with our friends Katie, Jay and their son Thomas. So of course that means I'm a cooking freak today. Our place smells so good! I am currently making homemade pumpkin and homemade apple pie with my famous crust. I am also going to make butternut squash, apple and gorgonzola torte and roasted asparagus with toasted pine nuts. But I probably won't do the latter until tomorrow. Those, along with wine and beer will be our contribution to the meal. Katie is taking care of the turkey, cheesy gratin, cornbread stuffing and cranberry-orange sauce. I think for two couples and two toddlers that is quite a feast! We're happy to spend this holiday with friends:-) Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
