Bittersweet

Off she goes.  Elise started Kindergarten today.  She was excited.  I was distressed.  She will go everyday from 8:30 until 3:00.  What will we do without her?

Her school is darling (and right around the corner from us).

This is her saying: "Mom, I know what I'm doing. Hello Kitty is cool."

I didn't picture her first day of real school having a Hello Kitty theme but I suppose I am ok with it.  It was too warm to wear the "perfect" attire mom picked out...
