We finally made it to Iowa today. Our house is just beautiful...and ginormous. Our backyard is verdant and teeming with birds. And a deer just trotted by as if it were on cue. I am very, very tired. Traveling alone with those two blonde children proved to be a nearly impossible task but we did have a great time visiting cousins in Georgia and I even got to make a solo trip to Asheville to visit dear friends. All in all, it was worth it. Now it will take me about two years to furnish this home but I get to bust out my decorating skillz;-) Cheers!
