tear jerker

Last night we made the mistake of watching Marley & Me-thinking it was a comedy. While Mike rolled his eyes through most of it (that heartless man) I found myself sobbing for a good hour. I went to bed with puffy eyes and red streaks on my face, Mike just looked at me with pity. For anyone who has seen it, how sad is the part where the little girl gives the dog her lamby? I was pretty much game over after that scene.

We had a nice weekend. Mike didn't get called into work which was a plus and we headed out to dinner two nights in a row (Elise included). We also got some new games and finally introduced Elise to Operation. Somehow, I can't help thinking Mike has an edge-someone who does interventional neurosurgery isn't exactly a fair opponent. Anyway, I still hate the game as much as I did when I was eight and I still scream and jump just as far out of my chair as I did back then when that stupid buzzer goes off.

I'm slowly getting used to my new computer (switching to a mac isn't very difficult but there is a slight learning curve) It is a beautiful computer and as soon as I get all my pictures and music in working order I will be able to do some pretty cool things...
