I know you are probably thinking "really!?" but no, she has never had a haircut. Most of this has to do with my reluctance to snip away any beautiful blonde locks. We decided it was time and had the best intentions to have her get a little french girl "bob" but mom wussed out (as Mike put it) in the eleventh hour and all we did was 2 inches. She was perfectly behaved but quite serious during the haircut; one might even say she was pensive. The name of the establishment is called The Yellow Balloon and shocker: they get a yellow balloon when they are finished! She also went for a spin in one of those silly little cars.

Love the haircut. We've been doing them monthly for over 2 years now, so it cracks me up to see kids older than B having their firsts!!
His would be down past his toes if we'd never cut it in three years. It grows like CRAZY!

yeah-boys obviously do the haircut thing much earlier (except kate hudson;-) but I felt like Elise didn't "need" it until I noticed it was almost below her bottom. Mike said, "ok Holly-it's time"
